2015 Annual British Naginata Seminar Details

We are delighted to announce details of the 2015 annual BNA naginata seminar which has been moved from our usual Spring-time date to Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2015.

We are excited to welcome Mrs SUMI Kaoru sensei, Godan Hanshi in Atarashii Naginata, who is flying in from Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan.

The seminar will take place in Welwyn Garden City.  There will also be a ‘warm up’ bogu practice of 90 minutes on Friday 11th September, 19:30-21:00 with Mrs Sumi sensei in bogu too.

There is a further Dan grades only afternoon session (14:00-17:00) on Friday 11th September too.

Examinations will be all Kyu ranks and to Shodan only.

The INF know Mrs Sumi sensei is heading this examination panel, and that the BNA is meeting the INF criteria for the examination panel.

Mrs Sumi sensei is accompanying her husband Mr SUMI Masatake sensei on his visit to both London and later Paris, France for Kendo. Therefore the BNA moved its annual Naginata seminar by 6 months, to accommodate her visit with her husband.

The INF and ENF are aware of this visit.
