We are delighted to announce details of the 2014 annual BNA naginata seminar.
The seminar will take place in Stevenage on the weekend of Saturday 8th to Sunday 9th March 2014. There will also be an optional ‘warm up’ practice of 90 minutes on Friday 7th in the early evening.
The venue is The Thomas Alleyne Academy. For those unfamiliar with Stevenage, it is only 30 minutes by train from Kings Cross St. Pancras (the Eurostar station in central London).
We are pleased to welcome, David D’HOSE sensei, Godan (Belgium). He will be joined by Hiromi UMIZAWA sensei, Godan (Japan). They will also form the examination panel for the grading with Rachel from the London dojo.

NOTES ON GRADING
Grading is to Ikkyu only.
If you are hoping to progress your gradings this year, you may be able to take one grade at this seminar and still leave the recommended minimum time before another grading later in the year (for example, at the INF, being hosted in Netherlands 22-24th August, 2014 and later the ENF’s European Naginata Championships in November 2014). Of course that timing would be subject to your own sensei’s recommendation on your progress.
